You are a gamer and a cat lover? You are looking for a special game that can satisfy your passion and your love? Don’t skip this article because it is for you. Developer Eric Blumrich is about to deliver you a treat, an open-world game called Peace Island. This game will give you the opportunity to become a cat going on adventures and interacting with other cats to solve puzzles and crack mysteries.
Peace Island game is set on the beautiful island of Maine, where all of the people have vanished. For this reason, a gang of cats has to work together to solve mysteries of their missing humans, finds them, and decides whether to bring them back or not.
The main characters of the game are 9 cats named Boy, Gary, Calinaigh, Anin, Girl, Zack, Ronan, Sushi, and Elizabeth. Each of them has its own unique personality traits and a specific set of skills to support them throughout the game.
As a cat in the game, you have to solve puzzles, pick up clues, and complete side-quests. Finally, you will be faced with the question: ‘Are the humans worth bringing back?’ Now that sounds more cat-like.
Peace Island will forgo combat to focus on puzzle solving, discovery, and exploration. This feline adventure game promises a huge and expansive world for you to discover through the perspective of house cats. So, if you ever wanted to see the world from a cat’s perspective, this game may be one of the best choices to satisfy your wishes.
The game is currently under development for Mac, PC and Oculus VR systems. Since Blumrich set up a KickStarter account for this game, it has been backed by 345 people and raised $13,098 to make the dream a reality. The game is aiming to launch next year, and we hope it comes to fruition because the idea is so awesome.
