Meet Dick van Duijn, a 34-year-old Dutch photographer who is good at capturing the beauty of nature and wildlife. His photos are so wonderful that people from around the world love his work and eagerly follow him on Instagram to update his latest photos every day.
Recently, he captured some heartwarming pictures of a squirrel gasping at the sheer beauty of a yellow daisy. These pictures quickly went viral and people can’t get enough of them. In the photos, the squirrel stands on its hind legs, reaches up to the daisy and sniffs with its eyes closed. It’s so adorable!
Duijn says he was captured this precious moment on a short trip to Austria made specifically to photograph the ground squirrels on June 5, 2019. “There were a lot of curious squirrels, so it was not hard to photograph them, but to capture one with a flower like this took a lot of patience and shots. The moment the squirrel smelled the flower and planted his face in the flower, I knew this was the picture of a lifetime,” he said.
