If anything is going to make you smile today, it will be this. An elderly man in the Philippines was filmed protecting his beloved dog from the rain. The tender way he cares for the dog to make sure he stays dry in the rain will melt your heart.
The precious moment was captured by Alilee Shalom Galilee at a market in Davao City. The elderly man was getting ready to leave the market when it started to rain. The dog patiently sat in a basket attached to the front of the man’s bike. He retrieved a small hat from the rear basket of the bike. He placed it on the dog’s head and attached the strap to his bike. Shortly after, the man took out a plastic bag and tied it around the dog. Now that the dog was covered and no longer getting wet, he put his gloves on and got on his bike. With a push of the leg, they were off.
