Bus Station Offers Stray Dogs Warm Beds To Stay And Escape The Cold

Winter is the coldest season of the year, so everyone needs to stay warm. Sadly, too many people and animals lose their lives just because they don’t have a warm place to stay. Besides, they are having trouble finding water and food to survive. For this reason, some kind people at a local bus station in Brazil decided to do something for the stray dogs who were left out in the cold.

Staff at a Barreirinha bus terminal in the city of Curitiba decided to create a space at their facility where friendly pups can stay warm and be cared for. Not only are the employees providing the dogs with food and water, but they also give them warm beds crafted from old tires covered with comfortable blankets.

The employees didn’t know if the dogs were abandoned or if they started life as strays. However, they didn’t care about it, they just cared about keeping them safe and warm. They named the dogs Max, Pitoco, and Zoinho, and the dogs couldn’t be more grateful. Three homeless pups had a tough life in the past, but they are now enjoying a happy life.

This act of kindness caught the attention of a local politician and animal lover, Fabiane Rosa. In a post on Facebook (translated from Portuguese), she praised those who spent their time and love helping those less fortunate pups.

“Congratulations to the terminal staff; everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be… So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example by adopting a pet. Of course, it is not ideal, but at least some are looking after them,” Rosa wrote on Facebook.

We hope that this story will inspire and remind all of us to be kind to every living being on this planet because they deserve to live a peaceful and comfortable life.
