A cat has found a bag of ‘cocaine and heroin’ and proudly brought it home to its owner. His owner from St. Pauls in Bristol, England, was shocked to discover the pet “curled up” next to a plastic bag. Instead of mice or a rat, the cat returned home carrying a plastic bag containing 30 wraps of cocaine and heroin.
Avon and Somerset Police tweeted the picture with the caption, “Forget police dogs; we should start training up cats”. A police spokesman said no arrests have yet been made in connection with the suspected drugs, and the contents of the bag have yet to be analyzed, but they are suspected to be class-A drugs with a street value of hundreds of pounds. The cat has been praised for the unusual catch.
The Avon and Somerset force says it is not releasing any information about the cat or its owner because it has to be “mindful of their safety.”.
