Meet Champ, a special kitten who was found in a litter of abandoned kittens dumped in a box at a gas station. Thankfully, a good Samaritan discovered the newborn kittens and immediately drove them to Animals in Distress, a rescue organization in Ipplepen, UK to look for help.
The teeny little kittens were so young that their umbilical cords were still attached. The rescue staffs tried their best to take care of these babies, but unfortunately three of the four were not strong enough to overcome. Although chances of survival were slim, Champ didn’t give up and fought hard to live against all odds. This left Champ as the only survivor.
The carers fed him and cuddled with him throughout the day and night. Thanks to the help and love of the caregivers, Champ pulled through and thrived. All the hard work paid off, he now becomes the healthy cat and is ready to be put up for adoption.
Champ likes walking around the shelter and visiting the other cats. These cats are just like Champ – given a second chance at life and now are looking for their forever homes.
Champ loves to visit and greet the other felines through the glass windows. He plays with them, comforts, and gives them some love. They’re always excited to see him because he obviously knows how to make them feel safe and happy. After a long day meeting his friends and sending them purrs, Champ settles down for a much-needed and well-deserved nap.
