Cats are so flexible that they can bend into many forms. They are also masters of stretching which makes them the perfect yoga buddies. While you are struggling so hard to do that perfect yoga pose, cats can master almost any pose thanks to their liquid bodies. Stretching is a way of increasing blood flow after sleeping, and increased blood flow makes cats feel good.
A Japanese Twitter user called Mttkmsan posted a picture of his neighbor’s kitty stretched out on his back, fast asleep. He started a trend, and people started posting pictures of their kitties in similar positions.
You have to admit that some of the poses they strike while stretching are so hilarious that we can’t resist taking a picture.
