“Maine Coon” is a breed of cat that has a distinctive size and appearance as compared to other domestic breeds. They are one of the oldest natural breeds in North America, specifically “native” to the state of Maine, where it is the official state cat. Despite being large, Maine Coons are quite social, earning them the nickname “the gentle giant.” So, you can get to own this wild cat without having to worry about your home getting destroyed.
Robert Sijka is a Hong Kong photographer who has always had a passion for these gorgeous Maine Coons, which prompted him to introduce these cats to the world through the power of photography. This combination created an impressive way to represent these cats as mystical-like creatures. Looking at his photos of Maine Coons, you can see that he has combined his two passions to great effect.
