This adorably spooky hairless cat is a star on Instagram. Jasper (name of the cat) unfortunately lost both of his eyes to corneal ulcers. But strong Jasper does not let the disability stop him from being cool and living happily. His forever parents love him, and Internet users also fall in love with him. He has over 57,000 followers, and we’re not surprised about it at all.
There’s a pretty heartbreaking story behind the fact that the cat has no eye. Jasper was adopted when he was 2 years old, and at that time he was seemingly healthy. But an unwanted thing happened. In November 2013, Jasper got a corneal ulcer in his right eye, and he got it removed. It was the only option to save the cat. A few years later, he faced another life-threatening challenge. He had a corneal ulcer in his remaining eye, which also got removed. Jasper suffered a lot but he turned out to be a super happy kitty who’s currently 12 years old.
