Magic is one of the oldest and most successful performing arts. It would be very hard to find someone who doesn’t enjoy a good magic act, and of course, our dogs also love wonderful magic and talented magicians. However, it is not easy to hold a magic show for dogs, especially our poor dogs at the shelter.

Everyone deserves a little holiday cheer this time of year, so a magician, John Stessel, decided to bring the magic to the dog at the shelter on this holiday. He performed for people for so many years and this time, he decided to perform for a group of adoptable shelter dogs in the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in New York.

He worked in partnership with director Rob Bliss and TBS to create some private magic shows for eager pups. This idea will give them the chance to show off their adorable personalities to potential adopters and help them get adopted.

The reaction from the dogs was just amazing. This is possibly one of the most heartwarming videos you will see. They just wanted to be loved and find their own forever home. After watching the video, I really wanted to adopt a puppy.
