A service dog with a heart of gold named Banner has become a hero after rescuing seven newborn kittens left to die inside a cardboard box in the woods. Banner has lived with her owner, Whitney Braley, in Menlo, Georgia, USA, since she was a pup. She is dedicated to helping the owner with her disability.
One day, Braley realized that something must be wrong when her dog suddenly became extremely distressed and kept pulling on her dress outside their home. So, Whitney let Banner lead her from the house and into some nearby woods and she discovered her dog circling an abandoned cardboard box. Banner found seven rescued newborn kittens who had been abandoned in a cardboard box in the woods. Banner dove straight in and fished out a teeny white kitten. Whitney went over to check and found six more kittens who were barely alive.
After bringing the newborn kittens back inside her house, Banner refused to leave their side. The dog also insisted on cleaning, cuddling, and napping with the seven kittens as if she were their mother. Since that moment, Banner hasn’t left the kitten’s side and has adopted them as if they were her own. Banner is a true hero, dedicated to helping other creatures and animals of all kinds.
