Meet Belle the stray cat who was saved from the cold by kind-hearted neighbors. The beautiful cat became a stray after her former owners relocated for an unknown reason. The good people often fed her, but as the temperatures began to drop in November, they decided to take her in. That’s when they noticed that she was pregnant.
“She was a companion until her human moved and sadly left without her,” LAPS Foster Kittens said. “Being a trusting and affectionate girl from the day we brought her home, we believe she was loved, but whatever the circumstance, she was left behind.”
The neighbors quickly contacted with Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) to call for help. Belle was brought to LAPS and was cared by a woman named Narod who became her foster mom. The rescuers named her Belle after Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
Belle was happy to be given a safe place to give birth. Just before the New Year, the cat gave birth to six baby kittens, four boys and two girls.
These little kittens may be small, but they eat like beasts. LAPS described them as being noisy, nursing, and ridiculously adorable. They added that it was a struggle telling these little ones apart.
The six mini panthers are adventurous, curious, and extremely playful. They follow mama Belle everywhere she goes, learning how to be a big and strong cat. They are now ready to leave their mom’s hands and find their forever loving homes.
