“They fight like cats and dogs.” This saying reflects the commonly held belief that dogs and cats just can’t get along because they are natural enemies. It is not true. Dogs and cats can form friendships. They can share the same hobbies and interests and help each other in times of need. The video below is a perfect example of friendship between cats and dogs.
This is an adorable video showing a sneaky cat helping two dogs escape from their pet carrier. Tuxedo, the cat, wrestles with the door, pulling it sideways to create a gap. “Hmm,” the cat seems to be thinking. “That didn’t go as planned.” And with a second fast swipe, he grips the door and knocks it off its side.
As the first dog stops at the edge of the carrier, the feline appears to pat one of them on the back with his paw, as if to encourage them to move faster during their escape. I swear, I can almost hear the cat commanding, “Go! Go! GO!”
