Artist Shows How Earth Would Look If Cats Were Giants And Lived Among Us

If you are a loyal reader of Pawsplanet, we are sure that you have already read a post about Frandsita Muafidin, an artist who had the crazy idea of photoshopping cats into feline giants. The cats Frandsita put on his Instagram profile quickly went viral on social media, and people can’t get enough of them.

For this reason, we have looked everywhere on the Internet for the best photos of giant cats to share with you. Thankfully, we met Andrey Scherbak, a Russian artist who lives in Rostov-on-Don and works remotely from home for an advertising agency in Moscow as a Creative Director.

The artist has created images of giant cats that show how wonderful the world would be if we had purring, three-meter-tall cats, all fluffy and friendly. He has shared over 150 photos of giant cats doing everything alongside him on social media, and they are really gorgeous.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Andrey shared a lot about his artistic life as well as the inspiration behind his giant cat project. “I was looking through a photo album and one picture I had taken in a forest on a corporate retreat caught my eye, and that’s how the idea was born. I liked it, so I took another photo intending to place a cat in it. I decided to create an Instagram account full of pictures of only me and my cats because that’s not very different from the reality I live in. I lead a rather isolated way of life.”

“I have two cats, male and female. The male cat is named Pif. I took him from an animal shelter as an adult when he was already around 5 years old. The female cat is named Panya, and I found her in the street. Now she’s 6 years old. She’s autistic. I also have a Labrador named Rooney, who is 3 years old. He can be seen in some of my photos. All of my pets get along very well and don’t fight.”

Check out Andrey’s giant cats, and don’t forget to share these photos with your friends and family members! Feel free to let us know in the comments which photos you like and why.
