Meet Sir Whines-A-Lot, Who Steals Money For The Homeless

If you’ve watch Zorro the Masked Man, then get ready for some live action (well, sorta). This cat, Sir Whines-A-Lot is following Zorro’s footstep. You’ll be surprised at what this rescue cat can do!

He lives at the office of a marketing firm called GuRuStu in Tulsa. His act of heroism (or crime) began when the founder, Stuart McDaniel, came to work one morning and found some money by the door where Sir Whines-A-Lot usually hangs out. “It kept happening, but we didn’t know why. So we decided to test a theory,” Stuart said. “We tried sliding money through the gap in the door, and the cat hopped up and snatched it.”

Stuart guessed that the shady feline had been luring passersby to play with him through the door, and they’d been using money as… cat toy. “I’m guessing the first people didn’t intend to lose their dollar,” McDaniel said. “They probably put it in to mess with him, and he snatched it. When you hold money there, he’ll bat at it playfully at first, like, ‘Oh, that’s kinda fun.’ But then all of a sudden he’ll bite it and rip it from your hand. He does it so fast, you don’t even realize what’s happened.”

As more and more victims fell for Sir Whines-A-Lot’s trick, the money grew to a significant number. Stuart then decided that the cash can only be donated to charity, especially ones working to help the city’s homeless population. “He was homeless once, so it seems fitting,” McDaniel explained. They’ve already raised over $100, which was donated under Sir Whines-A-Lot’s nickname, CASHnip Kitty. Also, Stuart updated the description on his Facebook page: “Cashnip Kitty is a hustler with a philanthropic heart. He will snatch your money and donate it to the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. Slide a dollar through the slot and great blessings will follow.” Well, it’d be no surprise if people are willingly fall for Sir Whines-A-Lot’s lure.
