When we adopt dogs or cats, we’re their whole world. We may have other people to meet, other tasks to complete or other problems to concern, but our pets’ top priority is always us. When we ignore our little friends, it’s natural that they would find ways to ask for attention.
Attention seeking can occur in any pet at any age in tons of different ways: meowing or barking out loud, jumping constantly, pawing your arm or leg, interrupting your work… you name it. The behaviour could be considered perfectly normal in pets, but sometimes it drives us crazy. However, who could blame them though? It’s not their fault that they love us.
