Meet Alexis Reynaud, a talented Swiss artist and photographer who is known for his book “Genève, Voyage Urbain.” In 2011, his works started to be recognized by several major art collectors. And then, they have appeared in Art Basel Selection, Kiaf/11 Seoul, and Scope Basel, as well as in several exhibitions and art fairs in Paris, Hong Kong, and Zurich.
Recently, the artist has created some portraits of felines standing on two legs. This idea came about while watching his cat’s movements. “At that very moment, I thought that he was the reincarnation of Puss-in-Boots,” Alexis Reynaud said. So, he decided to make the series Standing Cats, in which he captured standing cat pictures that show felines rocking a catwalk on two legs.
