Don’t Adopt A Labrador Retriever. Here Are 10 Reasons Why

If you’ve ever had or come in contact with a Labrador retriever, you’ll know exactly why some people believe that Labradors are among the most loved, beautiful, likable, playful, intelligent, protective, happiest, and friendliest dogs in the world.

The Labrador Retriever is currently the most popular dog in the United States. You’re pretty likely to see at least a couple of these energetic, eager-to-please dogs when you spend time outside at the park or in your neighborhood. Labs make great family dogs.

Here are 10 reasons lab owners wouldn’t want any other dog.

#1. Labs hate swimming and want nothing to do with water.

#2. Labrador Retrievers are not cute at all (especially as puppies).

#3. They can’t control those big, wild tails.

#4. Labrador Retrievers hate fetch.

#5. They just aren’t on the same level as other dogs intellectually.

#6. Labrador Retrievers want the food and will beg nonstop.

#7. Don’t even get us started about their shedding…

#8. They are lazy and have absolutely no energy.

#9. They’re basically incompatible with babies…

#10. Labrador Retrievers just aren’t the affectionate type.
