Couple’s Cat Accompanies Bride Down The Aisle On Their Wedding Day

Pets are family. So why aren’t they present at the most important day of our lives? Let’s meet the cat Angel and Michael and Courtney Jimenez from Ohio. They consider their tuxedo cat, part of the family. So, when Courtney and her then fiancé Michael were getting ready for their special day, she knew that she couldn’t do it without her cat who had never left her side.
Courtney went to Cleveland Animal Protective League four years ago without the intention to adopt. A fluffy tuxedo cat hopped on her lap and immediately claimed her as his human. At that moment, she decided to adopt this cat. Since that day, Angel hasn’t left Courtney’s side. After the baby, Michael Jr., was born, Angel helped his mama look after him and became his protective brother.
They want to save this special day with beautiful memories, therefore they invited Aileen of Aileen Elizabeth Photography, based in Lorain, Ohio, capture some of their feline-filled moments! It’s no surprise that playfulness is part of the daily life of a duo who couldn’t leave their cat out of their ceremony. Courtney’s father held the sweet tuxedo in his arms while the two were walking the bride together down the aisle. Angel the protective little boy turned to look at his mama as she was beaming with joy. The 8-year-old boy wore the perfect tuxedo for his mama’s special day.
I definitely think more couples should add things like this to make their wedding personal to them, especially with pets because they are family.
